Welcome to Kernewekglas, we are a family that enjoy's raising, breeding and showing as a hobby ,and we live in the South West of England, we take pride in the fact that we are able to provide our staffordshire bull terriers, minature bull terrier and a British bulldog with access to a playground that consists of miles and miles of breathtaking natural sernery that Cornwall has to has to offer, from beautful beaches and sand dunes to wonderful woods and wide open fields. Our dogs experience and enjoy just about every landscape nature has to offer.
Here at Kernewekglas Max Poppie Bella Marley Lily and Sky now retired are considered the "family pet" and are very well socialsied with both people and other dogs, this means that that we can walk any one of our dogs in a public place without the fear of them lashing out. While aggressive bull breeds do exist, we believe that at least 90% of their temperment is based on how they are raised.
We show our dogs in Companion Dog shows and Fun Dog Show and we try to attend The Devon & Cornwall Staffordshire Bull Terrier Ringcraft club at Leigham Community Hall Plymouth . The Kennel Club has given their permission to the The Devon & Cornwall Staffordshire Bull Terrier Ringcraft club to socialise & train ALL bullbreeds!!
The Companion Dog Show (formerly known as the Exemption Show) is not the same thing as a “Fun Dog Show”. Companion shows are Kennel Club Licensed events, held under Kennel Club rules and regulations.the Companion Dog Show provides an excellent training and socialisation ground for the dogs and its a really enjoyable day out for everyone, and with charities benefiting financially as well
Bit about the breeds ,The Staffordshire Bull Terrier appeared in the top 10 breeds most suitable for families and especially children in a report researched and published by Southampton University in 1996. This breed is highly intelligent, eager to please and very people friendly. It adapts readily to most situations making it the foremost all purpose dog. Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppies are very easy to house train Although individual differences in personality exist, common traits exist throughout the Staffords. Due to its breeding, the modern dog is known for its character of indomitable courage, high intelligence, and tenacity. This, coupled with its affection for its friends, and children in particular, its off-duty quietness and trustworthy stability, makes it a foremost all-purpose dog
The British Bulldog Some people are intimidated by the physical appearance of the Bulldog. They should not be as bulldogs are affectionate, gentle, good natured, friendly and loyal dogs. They adore children making them excellent family pets. They will get along well with dogs and non canine animals. They do not like to be left alone for too long as they crave human attention. It is thought that bulldogs are not very intelligent, this not true. They are intelligent, it is just they would prefer to be cuddled rather than learn a new trick or two. Bulldogs can be lazy and quite stubborn, it is at these times their intelligence shines through. They always know how to get their own way, or get you to help them do something e.g. helping them on to the sofa. All they do is give you that sad look to make you feel guilty, and bingo, they have got what they wanted. Bulldogs are known for their human like quality. Their wrinkly faces give away so much expression. Bulldog owners will tell you that they nearly always know what their bulldog is thinking!
Like the Standard Bull Terriers, Mininature bull terriers are loving and, like many terrier breeds, can be stubborn at times; but despite this they make great dogs for people with limited space.Bull Terriers are known to be stubborn and courageous. They don't seem to realize their size, however, because even if confronting an enormous dog they will not back down. However, with the right training, confrontations can be avoided. This characteristic does not change in the Miniatures. Some people think that Miniature Bull Terriers are practically a different dog, but one must realize that they are the same dogs, just smaller. They are very energetic and playful. They love people, but often don't get along with other pets. They are variable around other dogs, and young children must be warned to treat them carefully
I am an Accredited Kennel Club breeder and as such abide by the standards and requirements set by the Kennel Club for breeding pratices. I will not sell a puppy to anyone who is looking for a fighting dog. As responsible bull breed owners, it is our duty to act as ambassadors to the breed which includes doing everything in our power, to ensure that none of our pups fall into the hands of anyone who would abuse them, or use them for any illegal purposes I am an ethical hobby breeder who follows a personal code of conduct concerning the sale of my dog litters, I am open to contact from people who have the intent on owning and raising a puppy but I must stress on the fact that having the money to purchase a puppy does not give you an automatic right to acquire one of my dog's puppies. All prospective owners are vetted to ensure that my puppies go to excellent homes where they will be cared for and loved as the puppy would be if it were in my home. If I believe that a possible owner is entering into finding a puppy for the right reasons and that they will be a responsible owner then they will be placed on a waiting list for future planned breeding.

Use the "Contact" link to open and discuss with me about possibly of being placed on the waiting list for one of our puppies
I would like to thank everyone who has helped us to get where we are today. They know who they are. Also I would like to thank everyone who has viewed this website and any buyers who have bought puppies off of us. Thank You.
